Andrew Stone, with over twenty years of experience representing whistleblowers, has achieved significant results for his clients in whistleblower actions and complex litigation.

Andrew M. Stone is the principal and founder of Stone Law Firm, LLC, a Pittsburgh-based law firm dedicated to representing whistleblower clients in qui tam cases brought under the federal and state false claims acts and agency whistleblower programs.

Attorney Stone has been representing whistleblowers in qui tam cases since 1995. He has investigated and prosecuted dozens of qui tam cases, including numerous cases in the healthcare field, on behalf of physicians, nurses, compliance officers, billing managers, and executives.

He is co-lead counsel in United States ex rel. Bookwalter v. UPMC et al., an unsealed case involving allegations of violations of the Anti-Kickback and Stark laws.

Attorney Stone was also co-lead counsel in the groundbreaking cases that ushered in a new era of enforcement of the Stark and Anti-kickback laws through the aggressive application of the federal False Claims Act. These cases includUnited States ex rel. Emanuele v. Hamot et al., United States ex rel. Kosenske v. HMA, United States ex rel. Singh v. Bradford Regional Medical Center et al., United States ex rel. In addition, Attorney Stone is a member of the Criminal Justice Section of the ABA, the Qui Tam section of the Federal Bar Association, and Taxpayers Against Fraud (TAF), a public interest organization dedicated to combating fraud through the promotion of the False Claims Act and its qui tam provisions.

Attorney Stone frequently presents at state and national conferences and served as an advisor to the Allegheny County Council in the drafting and enactment of the Allegheny County False Claims Ordinance.

Mr. Stone graduated from the American University School of Law, and the University of Michigan.
